Titanium delivers an exceptional combination of strength, low weight, corrosion resistance and temperature performance - making it indispensable when every pound matters and failure isn't an option.

ATI takes titanium further. We develop, melt and transform advanced titanium alloys for some of the world's most demanding applications - from aircraft structures and rotating jet-engine components to armor, space and next-generation hypersonic systems.

Why Titanium

Light. Strong. Difficult to Make.

Titanium's performance comes with a manufacturing challenge. At elevated temperatures, it readily reacts with oxygen, nitrogen and other elements that can compromise the material. Producing high-performance titanium requires extraordinary control of raw materials, atmosphere, chemistry and processing from the first melt forward.

Up to 45% Lighter.

Titanium can deliver exceptional strength at substantially lower weight than many steels - helping reduce mass without giving up structural performance.

Built to Resist.

A naturally protective oxide layer gives titanium outstanding resistance to seawater and many aggressive environments, extending service life where corrosion is a constant threat.

Performance Across Extremes.

Titanium alloys can be engineered for applications ranging from cryogenic temperatures to increasingly demanding high-temperature environments, balancing strength, fatigue resistance and durability.

Why ATI

We Don't Just Make Titanium. We Engineer What It Can Do.

ATI combines deep titanium metallurgy with melting, forging, rolling, extrusion, powder and additive manufacturing capabilities. That breadth gives us extraordinary control over chemistry, microstructure, product form and performance - and the ability to develop new alloys when existing materials reach their limits.

Purity for the Most Demanding Applications.

ATI tailors the melt route and material quality to the application - from structural titanium to premium-quality material engineered for critical rotating jet-engine components.

The Right Melt for the Alloy.

Different titanium alloys require different approaches. ATI combines Plasma Arc Melting, Electron Beam melting and Vacuum Arc Remelting to control chemistry and material quality across a broad portfolio of titanium grades.

From Melt to Finished Form.

ATI takes titanium farther downstream through forging, rolling, extrusion, sheet, powder and additive manufacturing - connecting material development with the manufacturing capabilities required to put it to work.

Inventing What Comes Next

When existing titanium reaches its limits, ATI develops the next alloy. Our materials scientists can move new compositions from laboratory heats through pilot-scale melting, forging and rolling and into full-scale production trials.
